La Venue events locations in the heart of Gothenburg offers fabulous wedding experiences to enjoy, both for the moment but also great memories to look back on. With ten halls and lounges that hold up to three hundred people, it is possible to organize both large and small wedding parties. Royal vaults, enchanting chandeliers and magnificent ornaments make La Venue a perfect choice for weddings.

It is an honor for us to offer wedding venues in one of Avenyn’s most beautiful properties. The building has enriched the city since the late 19th century on the initiative of Sveriges Redarförening. The stately halls are filled with warmth through open fireplaces and create the perfect atmosphere for a party.

Everyone can organize weddings with us regardless of origin, culture or the amount of guests. You can plan your own dishes based on special diet, allergies and specific requests or choose from our already existing menu. The arrangement is tailored to your needs, whether you have a Persian wedding or a classical church wedding. We will keep you updated about your wedding party, according to your wishes. It is our ambition that your wedding day will be about you and your guests which we take pride in caring for.

Menu 1


Artichoke soup, served with butter seared snow crab, dill oil and cut chives.

Main course

Cured and steamed hake, baked parsnip, seared horseradish butter with a lukewarm radish, pea sprout, and asparagus salad.


A rich dark chocolate cream resting upon a bed of chocolate crunch, served with an assortment of raspberries.

Menu 2


Char tartare, grilled pak choi and shallots, pickled cubes of mango and cucumber, served with a coriander créme.

Main course

Swedish entrecôte, thinly sliced and slowly baked, served with a potato and carrot cake, along with a green pepper sauce and butter fried vegetables after season.


A classical créme brûlée, served with an orb of raspberry sorbet.

Menu 3


Elk carpaccio, served with a roquette and endive salad, roasted white onion cream sprinkled with cut cress. Crowned with grated truffles.

Main course

Monkfish, seared in pan, baked in oven. Served with creamed savoy cabbage and roe from Vänern, and black salsify accompanied by a lime marinated and roasted Ceasar’s mushroom.


Oblong, undulated pastery with white chocolate mousse, and a blend of strawberry and rhubarb placed upon a truffle bed.
